We “met” Birendra, the owner of Adventure Club Treks & Expeditions, long before we ever arrived in Nepal and well before we realized he was involved in tourism. We spent a great deal of time talking to him online via Skype and also emails. We asked Birendra countless questions over many months about what to see in Nepal. He never ceased to amaze us with his endless patience and prompt responses to our queries. We never even wanted to do any trekking in Nepal because we were far more interested in the culture and in sightseeing. We felt we trusted Birendra so when it came time to book day trips, accommodation and Everest flights etc we knew who we wanted to do the job for us. He also organized our day tours to Bhoudhanath and Monkey Temple. He was the person who suggested we stay in Bhaktapur, in the World Heritage area, for a couple of nights at the Vajra Hotel. We were so glad he suggested it. It was one of the highlights of our stay in Nepal. It was at his suggestion we stayed at the Sacred Valley Inn in Pokhara for a couple of nights and that was another highlight of our trip. We are now such good friends that we are frequently in contact via the internet. We found him to be a very conscientious person who genuinely likes helping people. He was always concerned with our welfare whilst we were in Nepal to the point where he insisted we borrow his mobile phone so we could keep in contact with him at all times. We can thoroughly recommend him if you need the services of an organized and professional person for your tours in Nepal.

Birendra is the adventure guide, and his service there was absolutely outstanding! He organised everything for me and did not complain as I changed my mind daily as to what I felt like doing. Once I had left Kathmandu, he even occasionally, briefly checked in that things were going as I'd hoped.
He helped me completely organise my trip to Tibet including visas etc, before I had even arrived in Nepal. He also sorted out my dramas with the Chinese embassy for me when I was unable to be contacted in Nepal. I would have been totally screwed and lost out £1000 if it wasn't for him!
He also helped me arrange what I had not already organised in Nepal, like my bus and internal flight tickets, rafting, paragliding in Pokhara and the safari in Chitwan. Whilst comparing photos and stories with other travellers since, it confirmed what it already thought, in that I had the best time humanly possible.
I think this is because of how perfectly he tailored my trip for me - especially after getting to know me a bit during my stay. And the best thing was, that he always just told me how to have the most enjoyable experience- he never pushed or tried to sell me anything. I chose to go with him, because he seemed trustworthy- which he definitely proved that he is.
Birendra himself is very humble, but really such a warm, honest, kind hearted guy. He really looks after you like you are part of his family. This kindness I also saw extended to the 60 children in the orphanage he helps out- you can see it is close to his heart. The orphanage trip was my most memorable part of Nepal, in the end.
Couldn't recommend him enough!
