Sunrise and Sunset Tour in Nepal

About Trip

Nepal is justly renowned for its breathtaking scenery and natural beauty, which are surely second to none in the entire world. Fortunately for the visitor, even without going on a difficult and physically challenging trek it is possible to experience unforgettable beauty from special vantage points which are quite easy to reach.  This tour brings you to several of these magical places, while also offering a chance to visit some of the historic treasures with which the Kathmandu Valley is so richly endowed.

After a day of sight-seeing in Kathmandu, we travel a short distance to explore Patan and Bhaktapur, ending the day at Nagarkot, one of the most scenic spots in Bhaktapur District.  Located just 32 kilometers from Kathmandu, it is known for its extraordinary views of the Himalayas including Mount Everest as well as other Himalayan peaks of eastern Nepal.  Weather permitting, Nagarkot offers unforgettable views of Everest at sunset and sunrise. Our adventure continues with a visit to Dhulikhellocated at the Eastern rim of Kathmandu Valley, just 30 km southeast of Kathmandu. Its residents include members of diverse ethnic Nepal communities, including Newars, Brahmin, Chhetri, Tamang, and Dalit.Known today for the excellence of its drinking water, Dhulikhel has been for centuries an important trading center on the commercial route linking Nepal to Tibet.

Next, we head west to Bandipur, perched on a mountainside ledge just wide enough for its main street and little more.It offers the visitor a taste of traditional Nepali culture and architecture since it only became accessible quite recently by road.Heading westward another 80 kilometers, our journey brings us to lakeside Pokhara and the neighboring town of Sarangkot.Located on Sarangkot Mountain, Sarangkot is another superb spot from which to enjoy panoramic views of some of the most iconic Himalayan peaks: Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu. After a day of sight-seeing in beautiful Pokhara, we return to Kathmandu and our flights home
