About Trip

In ten amazing days this tour offers the opportunity to experience many of the unique treasures and sights to be found in only one place on earth: Nepal.  For the history and architecture buffs there will be visits to the numerous UNESCO World Heritage Sites of the Kathmandu Valley, including Kathmandu's Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath (the "Monkey Temple"), and Buddhanath (the world's largest Buddhist shrine), as well as additional historic sites in nearby Patan and Bhaktapur.

For a complete change of pace, we next head to Chitwan National Park, where a jungle safari will introduces to many wild animals, some verging on extinction, in their natural surroundings.  From here we drive to another UNESCO World Heritage Site: Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha.
