Who doesn’t want to witness the grandeur and the majestic presence of the Himalaya? We all do. The Himalayan ranges include most of the world’s tallest mountains, most of which lie in Nepal. Our Langtang Helicopter Tour or Helambu valley Helicopter tour is designed to bring the most serene of Himalayan view in a luxury manner and in a short time. This helicopter tour is perfect for those who do not have the time or effort to trek the Langtang region but want to witness the beauty nonetheless. Langtang region is home to the Langtang National park, one of the most secluded and unspoiled in the country. Our Langtang Helicopter Tour starts from Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International airport. We set off to one of the most scenic, naturally vivid, wild and isolated places in Nepal. Only a few ethnic groups live here.
The region also boasts some visually pleasing snow-capped mountains like Dorje Lakpa, Ganesh Himal, Langtang Lirung, and other neighboring Langtang ranges. We fly over this mountain including the Holy Gosainkunda Lake. We land at Kyanjin Gompa at 3.870m and have tea and breakfast or take pictures of the gorgeous surrounding for about 20 minutes. Staying longer than that has the potential to cause Acute Mountain Sickness ( AMS). Kyanjin Gompa offers a 360 degree close up mountain view including Mt. Annapurna I (8091m), Mt. Shishapangma (8013m) Langtang Lirung ( 7227m), Ganesh Himal range, Gaurishanker ( 7134m) , Langshisa Ri (6,427m), Dorje Lakpa (6,966 m) , Gangchenpo (6,387 m), Yala peak (5,520m), and Naya kanga (5,846 mm) among others. We take the 20 minutes to enjoy the scenic paradise. Then, we take the helicopter back to Kathmandu, flying over the majestic mountains once again.

Certain mountain regions are remote, natural disasters can happen, weather conditions can decline and there can be illness or an injury. To avoid dangerous situations we may occasionally have to make changes to the itinerary to ensure everyone’s safety. That having been said, Adventure Club Trek will strive to provide you with the best possible trekking experience and to keep your safety our number one priority. We thank you for your understanding.
Prior to all the treks and expeditions, Adventure Club Trek hosts a pre-trip meeting in Kathmandu. The primary purpose of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for individuals to ask questions about the forthcoming trek and to introduce other team members. The meeting covers topics as diverse as personal equipment and acclimatization and usually involves a hike and some skills training. Pre-trip meeting is very important in order to have a better preparation of the trekking.
