Druk Path Trekking is one of the short trekking in Bhutan. This trekking package has been designed in such a way that you will be able to explore the mysterious hidden kingsom, Bhutan. This trek is follows the rout between Paro and Thimphu, crossing the chain of mountains that sparsely the tow valleys. Nomadic yak herders sparely inhabit in the route but there are wonderful lakes teeming with fish and the area is known for spectacular rhododendron forest that blooms in spring. In the clear weather great views of the Himalayas are seen as the most part of this trek is along the ridge. The highest point is 3800 Meters.
Bhutan is also well known for its unique culture, architecture, and archery and many more. This mysterious Kingdom also known to be known to be the land of the Thunder Dragon was open in 1970s for the outsiders, since then it has become the ultimate destinations for the travelers from across the country.
Druk Path Trekking begins with a short flight from Kathmandu to Paro and then drive to Thimpu and have exploration around Thimpu, explore around the tower of Ta Dzong, the historical museum, Kyichu temple, Taktsang monastery, after exploring around, you will return back to Paro and fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 01:Arrival at Paro Airport (2,280m
Day 02:Day excursion from Paro to the Taktsang Monastery
Day 03:Trek from Paro to Jele Dzong (3,436m) - Distance: 8 kms - 5 hrs.
Day 04:Trek to Jangchulakha (3,962m) - Distance: 9 kms - 5 hrs.
Day 05:Trek to Jimilang Tsho ( 3,880m) - Distance: 10 kms - 6 hrs.
Day 06: Trek to Simkotra (4,090m) - Distance: 7 kms - 4 hrs
Day 07:Trek to Thimphu via Phazoding - Distance: 14 kms - 7 hrs
Day 08:Drive from Thimphu to Paro
Day 09: Departure from Paro (by Druk Air)
