Chulu West Peak Climbing

About Trip

Chulu West Peak climbing is adjoined with the Mini Annapurna Circuit trek. This trip is one of the popular adventure excursions in the Annapurna region of Nepal. Chulu West Peak is technical and requires a previous peak climbing experience.

Driving to Syange from Kathmandu, the trek begins enjoying the waterfalls and lower altitude forests. Passing different ethnic settlements like Pisang and Manang, you trek to Ledar and split to the Chulu West Peak. From there we proceed to the Chulu West Base Camp. Beginning is quite easy, but we walk half of the way through the Glacier. Camp I at 5100 meters. It is also relatively easy from base camp to camp I. As the altitude is growing, it’s tough to ascend in the thin air region. Camp II is set around 5530 meters. Some climbers attempt summit from base camp, but it requires perfect fitness and excellent acclimatization. From the top, we explore the aura of the Annapurna range, including Manaslu and Lamjung Himalayas. After the outstanding moment at the top, we trek down to the base camp following the en-route and join the Thorung La pass trek.

For the excellent Chulu West Peak Climbing arrangement and professional peak climbing guide along with the kitchen team, feel free to contact Adventure Club Trek. (Note: peak climbing is really an adventurous act, so physical fitness, acclimatization and proper rest should not be undermined. We always emphasize on these aspects along with hygienic foods, so we manage a good kitchen team for all the groups. Also, it is better to manage extra day, which is useful, if the weather is bad).
