The Kingdom of Bhutan is synonymously known as the Last Shangri-La. It is located between two giant neighbors- India and China. Bhutan is a tiny landlocked country that preserves the biological diversity. It covers 38,364 square kilometers. According to a survey, the total population of Bhutan is 6,97,000. Thimpu is its capital city of this picturesque country, but the only airport lies in Paro.
Dzongkha is the official language of Bhutan where Nepali and Sharchop are also spoken. People are extremely spiritual who mainly belong to Buddhism and Hinduism to some extent. The country is also renowned for the ever smiling people and the happy population. The life expectancy of the people in Bhutan is 64 years.
